Esther – Sarah Circle will meet at church on Tuesday, June 5 that 10:30. There will a short program and assembling of hygiene “Kits for Conference” followed by a pot-luck lunch. All women of the church are invited to attend.

Cemetery Association Annual Meeting – Please note, the Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting next Sunday, June 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Joy Classroom.

Virginia Annual Conference (June 15 - 17)

The Virginia Annual Conference will be available to watch on live stream again this year (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). All are welcome to attend any worship or sessions at the Hampton Convention Center and all are encouraged to volunteer for various duties. Sessions start EARLY this year so we can have 3 hours for cleargy and laity to contribute to community service in the Hampton area.

Our own Pastor Ileana will be preaching Friday, June 15th at 7:30 p.m.

Outreach Program – Make plans now to participate in our outreach program “How to Become a Storyteller” presented
by Rosabeth Ward on June 24th at 9:00 a.m. This is the start of our Summer outreach program to be held on Sundays beginning July 8th through August 5th .

UNITED METHODIST BISHOPS RECOMMEND A WAY FORWARD – On May 4th the Council of Bishops reported they will recommend the One Church Plan at the Special Session of the General Conference in 2019.
